A Symphony of Seasons

One market town, four seasons, a dozen lives — a full-company tapestry woven from music, movement and memory.

The production

Spring, Summer, Autumn, Us

From the first market morning of March to the lantern parade of December, A Symphony of Seasons follows a market town through its year: the flower seller and the clockmaker, the twins who run the bakery, the choir that rehearses above the pub.

Built with the community — thirty local voices join the company choir for the finale — and scored for strings, piano and the town's own brass band. Julian Cross narrates as the market keeper who has seen it all.

What the evening includes

  • A thirty-voice community choir joining the company finale
  • Live strings, piano and the Troy brass band in the pit
  • Seasonal foyer market with local makers before every show

“Like the town itself got up on stage to tell you its year. The choir finale had the whole house on its feet.”
